Woodston Residents Seek Flood Protection

New Hope For Head And Neck Cancer Surgery At Royal

A letter from the Chair of Three Counties Cancer Network (3CCN) to Primary Care Trust bosses has opened the door for the retention of head and neck cancer surgery at Worcester Royal. 3CCN recently took the controversial decision to transfer all surgery to Gloucester, but have since been deluged with opposition to the move from the public, cancer patients, surgeons, consultants and nursing staff.

Burt Joins Volunteers To Plant New Wetland

Local Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate, Richard Burt joined Pershore District Councillor, Charles Tucker, local residents and volunteer groups to help plant a new 4.5 hectare wetland at Avon Meadows, Pershore last Wednesday.

Network Rail Challenged Over Train Stopping Point

Local Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate, Richard Burt and County Councillor Steve Brown have challenged Network Rail to move a train stopping point after residents complained their lives are being disrupted every day through noise and vibrations created by London trains that stop and reverse within yards of their homes.

25 Mile Target For NSPCC Challenge Walkers

Lib Dems Top Tories For Votes And Seats In West Worcestershire

Gordon Brown Rejects Plea To Suspend Housing Plans

County Council Publicity Budget Spiralled Over Four Years

Information uncovered by the Liberal Democrats reveals that the press and communications budget for Worcestershire County Council spiralled by 175% over four years, rising from £225,400 in 2004 to £621,000 in 2008 under Conservative control.
