Peneope Morgan, County Councillor for Langland, is concerned for the future of home care.

Are you, your relatives or your friends receiving the correct level of home care? Worcestershire County Council Social Services are under spent on budget in this area. If more care is going to take place in the home, as the Government wishes, there must be a reliable care system in place.

There have been problems with staff shortages since the Tory-led County Council contracted out home care services. One reason is that the wages and conditions of employment of care workers are not good enough.

Liberal Democrats believe that everyone should have an appropriate level of care. If you think that this is not happening, let your local County Councillor know of the problems being experienced. Penelope Morgan, County Councillor for Langland said "These things must be sorted out properly if people are going to be safely looked after in their own homes to the standard we all expect for our loved ones."
